Full course description

This course will focus on subgroups of students who may need extra support to become proficient readers. After completing the course, you should:

*understand the RTI process and how teachers can use assessments to support student progress

*understand how language and literacy development can differ for students with reading disabilities, language disorders, other developmental disorders, and for bilingual or multilingual students  

*understand how to support students with dyslexia or other reading difficulties 

*understand how to support students who are not native English speakers
