Supporting Content Area and Digital Literacy Development (DPS 6-8 Teachers)

This course explores ways to support reading comprehension in content-area classrooms, as well as ways to support digital literacy development. Learning goals are as follows: 

1. learn how content-area teachers can scaffold text reading to support students' reading comprehension development

2. learn how teachers can support aspects of digital literacy development
